Lagu milik Kyary Pamyu Pamyu yang berjudul Kimi ni 100 Percent dipilih untuk dijadikan lagu tema anime Crayon Shin-chan mulai 19 Oktober. Berita ini diumumkan sendiri oleh Kyary saat acara TV Asahi Dream Festival 2012 di Yoyogi National Stadium Tokyo tanggal 6 Oktober lalu. Lagu Kimi ni 100 Percent ditulis oleh Nakata Yasutaka (capsule).
I love Crayon Shin-chan that I have the entire manga series and even saw the movie, no questions asked! I never ever thought that I of all people would get to sing the theme song, so now I’m glad that I’m a singer! Since I love the earlier theme song “Ora wa Ninkimono” too and used to sing it at karaoke a lot, it’s truly an honor to be given the opportunity to do the theme song!credits: kyarychan.tumblr.com
Shin-chan is a special 5-year-old that you could never find anywhere else! The warmth of the Nohara family is really moving, so whenever I watch it I feel so peaceful. There’s also parts that make you laugh too, so I love it!!! In fact, I loved it so much that I made a promise my dad that if I studied hard and did my homework, he would buy me one volume of the comic… I’ve been collecting them since I was in elementary school!
This time I sang the song gently, hoping that this will be a song that you all come to know intimately. I especially hope that little kids will like it! The choreography is simple too, so I’d love for little kids to come to my live performances and dance and sing it! I would be so happy if this song got popular in town, getting into all your brains, and became a national song! I wanted to put Shin-chan’s “Butt Alien” gag into the choreography, but it was impossible for humans to do. (laughs)
