Sebuah light novel yang berjudul Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi (The Sunday without God), diumumkan akan diadaptasi menjadi serial anime. Light novel yang ditulis oleh Irie Kimihito ini pun sempat diadaptasi menjadi manga dan diserialisasikan melalui majalah Monthly Dragon Age yang diterbitkan oleh Fujimi Shobo sejak November 2010 dan masih berlanjut hingga kini. Berita ini diumumkan di situs resmi dari perusahaan penerbit Fujimi Shobo.
